Norwegian piano music

The goal of the work Norwegian piano music is to map out the important part of Norwegian music culture, to outline possibilities of its usage in concerts as well as in pedagogical practice and to present the results to the wide public. Public knowledge of the Norwegian part of the European cultural heritage is in comparison to knowledge in other national cultures quite poor. This concerns not only the Czech Republic, but mostly all European countries. It may be caused by the language as well as geographical barrier to information access. This work wants to use potential and special knowledge of its problems, make an analysis of usage possibilities in performing and pedagogical practice. Finally, the work wants to extend knowledge in European music culture to those Czech and foreign people who are interested in, and to offer them posiibilities of the practical use of this information
