This master thesis focuses on an analysis of entire functions of exponential type, emphasizing their applications to quadrature formulae. Several articles describing quadrature formulae of entire functions and functions of exponential type are available; this work aims to sum and consolidate their results, ll in missing or incomplete proofs and accompany formulae by examples. Although no new fundamental results were achieved, this work contains far more than just article translations - author's own proofs, examples, comments and explanations are included
