Comparing Immigration and Integration Policies in Czech Republic and Germany on Example of Vietnamese Community in Prague and Turkish Community in Berlin

Diploma thesis "Comparing Immigration and Integration Policies in Czech Republic and Germany with a focus on Vietnamese Community in Prague and Turkish Community in Berlin" deals with immigration policies in the Czech Republic and Germany while focusing on integration of the ethnic communities (Turks and Vietnamese) into the labour market. It also deals with the concept of multi-level governance and focusese on local migration policies in Berlin and Prague. It examines closely the migration of low-qualified workers and based on experience of both coutries it reflects on current policy of circular migration on the European level. Given past experiences the policy of circular migration is considered as problematic. Using migration theories and interdisciplinary approach to understand migration flows not only in both coutries, but also in the European union's level, proved to be fruitful and should further examined in future research
