The development of jewelry in the area of ancient Macedonia and Thrace, from the archaic to the Hellenistic period followed the broader concept of development which took place in the production of jewelry in the other parts of Greece. However, there were certain traits that make the piece different from severořecký jewelry and other areas that are most apparent in jewelry from the 6th century BC Tombs of prehistory of Vergina and the Archaic period of burial in Sind, uncovered number of bronze, silver and gold jewelry, which were used as the normal wear and were, in the case of splendid jewels, a symbol of luxury and wealth belonging to upper class people
