The thesis covers the problem of evaluation and auto-evaluation in schools, and compiles theoretical bases and information concerning this subject. It also presents new insights and attitudes, and suggests a methodical instruction for school's auto- evaluation activity. Auto-evaluation is dealt with as a project. Further, the thesis concerns with planning, organising and controlling the procedure.
