Different aspects of muscle weakness and spasticity of patients with multiple sclerosis were analyzed in this diploma thesis. Patients who fulfilled entry test criteria were examined within period of two months at Neurology Department of Faculty Hospital Královské Vinohrady. Degree of spasticity and muscle weakness was measured by competent student of physiotherapy from 3. Faculty of Medicine of Charles University. Standardized methods were used (e.g. Modified Ashworth scale, Motricity Index). Data points were statistically analyzed and processed in MS Excel program.
