This Backelor Thesis cinsiders women awareness of breast cancer prevention. The theoretical part deals with anatomy and physiology of mammary gland, types of breast cancer and their diagnostics and possibilities of treatment. It is engaged in risk faktors and prevention as well. The empirical part is comprised of quantitative questiannaire method, which finds out women interest of their own prevention, awareness of breast selfexamination, mammography screening and risk faktors.
