The work deals with tracing development of Lustig's prose Tma nemá stín (Darkness Casts No Shadow) from its first edition as a short story in Věstník židovských náboženských obcí v Československu (Journal of Jewish Congregations in Czechoslovakia) through all other book editions of the short story (as part of collection Démanty noci) up to its elaboration into a nouvelle and its so far the last edition. There is mentioned a list of available editions of the fiction in the Czech language as well as translations into foreign languages (however the work does not pay further attention to foreign language editions).
