Corporate culture and its relationship to national culture

Abstract

The subject of this work is the problem of the relationship between corporate and national culture. That means, to what extent is the corporate culture influenced by national character of the country in which it operates. Its main purpose is to show, how this fact takes effect in the merger of two companies, or when one company is taken over by another as there is a collision of national and corporate cultures from different countries, and therefore different systems of values, ways of behaviour, but also different languages.
