Summary The protection of land ownership rights against unlawful interference This diploma thesis deals with land ownership, analyses interference with land ownership and examines the rights against unlawful interference. The purpose of this thesis is to find out what is meant by interference with land ownership, to find out what types of interference exist, which are regulated and how the law provides protection against unlawful interference. The thesis is consists of five chapters. Three of them are main chapters, each of them deals with different aspects of land ownership. Chapter One is introduction to the thesis. Chapter Two defines basic terminology used in the thesis. The chapter is subdivided into four parts. Part One describes the concept of land ownership. Part Two deals with subject-matter of land ownership. Part Three examines subject of land ownership and Part Four deals with content of land ownership. Chapter Three examines relevant Czech legislation that allows restriction and expropriation of land ownership focusing on enviromental law. The Chapter Three consists of three parts. Part One focuses on interference with land ownership looking for its causes.
