The Education to Health in Present-day School

3 Abstract: In 2004 the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic validated the law of education, which brought a new strategy of education called Rámcový vzdělávací program. The emergent section People and Health includes these subjects: Education to Health, Physical Education and Sports Training. The major aim of this work is to find out if schools were prepared enough for introduction of the new strategy of education (Rámcový vzdělávací program) especially of the subject Education to Health. This work wants to verify if this programm presents clear aims, satisfactory theoretical material and personal background. Title: The Education to Health in Present-day School Aims: The aim of my work is to find out present state of the subject Education to Health in the second degree of primary education in the Czech Republic and to find possibilities of its improvement. Methods: My questionnaire was completed by 114 teachers of the subject Education to Health from second degrees of basic schools in CR. We found out actual state of this education in these parts: real state in schools, personal background, ways of education, theoretical background of education, experience with education and inovation possibilities.
