Respite Care Service as Partial Form of Social Support of Families with Children with Intellectual Disabilities

This dissertation is concentrates on the problems of respite care provided to families of children with mental disabilities. In tries to outline situation of families which ceaselessly take care of their most vulnerable members. The main goal of my work is characterization of these services, firstly on the general level, and secondly it describes the development of these services and the Act about Social Services, which it does primarily from the point of view of the providers through questionnaire survey. My work aims to gather information from providers of care from the whole of the Czech Republic a thus aspires to collect data which would show the possibility to influence the quality of the services provided. By this, my work tries to contribute into the field of the respite care, which target group are children with mental disability
