Placement on labour market: graduates of humanities from ZČU

Thesis is focused on job placement of graduates of study program Humanistika, Faculty of Arts, University of West Bohemia in Plzeň. In the theoretic part transition from college to work is analyzed, such as methods of job search, efficiency of social networks during job search and importance of human capital. In the situation, when in almost all the developed countries the number of tertiary graduates is markedly increasing, and the problem of overeducation arouses, there is a list of methods. Methods how forecast sectoral prospects of qualifications and occupations on Labor market. It monitors Czech and international surveys of higher education, which are based on graduates' evaluation. In empirical part there is an introduction into qualitative methodology of the specific sample. Then, there is an analysis and interpretation of collected data. It includes evaluation of study program, process and methods of job search, possible unemployment and identifying work values
