Training of primary school teachers in foreign languages

This diploma thesis is dealing with the training of primary school teachers in foreign languages in the Czech Republic and Austria. It explores the educational systems of both countries, its approaches to foreign language teaching at primary school and models of primary school teacher training within the both, pre-service and in-service training. On the basis of the theoretical background and research among the Czech and Austrian teachers, it tries to find the optimal ways of primary school teacher training to teach foreign language
