Epidemiology of tick-borne encephalitis in Czech Republic

Encephalitides are inflammatory brain diseases usually caused by viruses, but also by other microbes. Clinical picture may be asymptomatic disease with mild, but also very severe course sometimes lethaly ending. In this dissertation I wanted to give an overview of some encephalitides especially tick-borne encephalitis , which has growing tendency in the area of Czech Republic.
