Economics of a family farm

This barchelor thesis is dealing with the economics of ecological family farm in Ústecký region, which major business is cattle farming. The thesis is divided into two parts : theoretical and practise. In theoretical part, economic indicators as cost calculation or financial analysis ratios are described. Then it contains characteristics of agriculture in Czech Republic focused on ecological cattle farming. In the end of the first part, the history and current status of ecological family farm is defined. In the second part of the thesis we make calculation of expenses and we also calculate the ratios indicators. The values are then compared to optimum values. Based on obtained outputs we propose proper precaution, which should help the farm to improve the overall economic situation
