This article is focused on predicting the risk of flash floods which caused considerable material damage in the southeast part of Zlin Region dated August 5, 2016. Principle of forecasting of flash flood is described in the 'Methodology for the use of meteorological radar of the Zlin Region for crisis management.' The purpose of this methodology is to improve the possibilities of early warning of population and notification of crisis management in case of a potential or actual threat of flash floods in the Zlin region. © 2017 IEEE
