GeoHumanities

The recent emergence of geohumanities signals a cross-disciplinary and a transdisciplinary engagement with themes of space and place. As a loosely structured field of inquiry, geohumanities combines a long-standing humanities interest in the Earth, dating back to the Renaissance, with much more recent developments in the digital humanities and creative uses of geographic information science (GIScience).
