Golden Thread Project Stencil workshops. >This output aided participants to consider and learn about the telling of stories via comics.Also to learn elements of cultural heritage. > Each of these Comics workshops was a research activity that stood by itself , but is also part of my ongoing investigation into the part that Myths and Storytelling takes in our lives. >It also formed a simple survey of what memory of Folksong remains within elements of UK population. > There is an emphasis on storytelling via sequential art here, as an outreach tool that can make cultural heritage more accessible to young people, and remind older people of the value of elements of our culture like Folksong, and Mythology. > The use of stencils is a strategy to enable anybody, even those who absolutely cannot draw, to participate. This has proven effective.
