Enquête sur les dons et le bénévolat en France; Synthèse

his report summarizes the main results of three surveyss on givind and volunteering in 1991, 1993 and 1996, according to a comparable methodology within the framework of Johns Hopkins Nonprofit sector Comparative Programl. these surveys allow for the first time in France to answer the following questions: How many donors and volunteers and which are their sociodemographic characteristics; Which are the nonprofit institutions that benefit of donations and and voluntary work and what is the economic value of these diverse forms of generosity.
