Hubungan Status Gizi Dengan Perkembangan Motorik Kasar Pada Anak Usia 1-3 Tahun Di Kelurahan Bitung Kecamatan Amurang Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan

This period the growth rate begain to decline, and despite progress in motor development, including gross motor. Nutritional status is one of the factor that influence the development of gross motor. Purpose of this research to know the relationship nutrional status with gross motor development of children aged 1-3 years In Bitung village Amurang subdistric South Minahasa Regency. Quantitative method with cross sectional. The sample used total sampling method, with total 38 resppondents, nutrion status used anthropometric measurements based of age, whereas grader of gross motor development using sheet of observation Denver II, the data of research prosessed with computer program, it using Chi Square test at a significance leavel of 95% (α=0,05). The results show are relationship with nutrion status and gross motor development of children aged 1-3 years. Statistic test chi-square with result p=0,006. Conclusion of the research is nutrion status affects the gross motor development of children, so as to obtain the appropriate motor development requires optimal nutritional adequacy. Suggestion through this research, monitoring of nutritional status and motor development of children can be done on a regular basis
