Pembelajaran IPA dengan Pendekatan Keterampilan Proses untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa Pgmi di Unipdu Jombang

Science classes are considered as difficult subject. As a result, students are not motivated to express their opinions and critical thinking during their classes. The condition, therefore, requires science teachers to find a solution to deliver meaningful learning activities in friendly environment. This study was aimedtoinvestigatethe influence ofscience learning with process skillsapproachto improvestudent’sachievement. Students of 6th semester majoring in PGMI, Unipdu, Jombang, were subjected with the tested learning method. The study was conductedinMarch-May2012 with experimental method. Students’ performance was assesed through cognitive tests, observation, andinterviews. Results ofthis study indicatethat science learning with process skillsapproachto improve students achievement. After administered with the learning method, 100% of the students were able to master the learning materials. The average of the correct answers by students was 94%
