Pengaruh Pelatihan Guru Uks Terhadap Efektivitas Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk Demam Berdarah Dengue Di Tingkat Sekolah Dasar, Kota Palu, Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah

The Influence Of UKS (School Health Program) Teacher's Training On Eradication of Breeding Places of Dengue Haemoraghic Fever (DHF) Effectivity In Palu Municipality, Central Sulawesi Province. A study on the influence of school health program teachers' training on eradication of breedingplaces of mosquitoes that cause Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) was conducted in Palu Municipality,Central Sulawesi Province from September to November 2004. Teachers were given lessons about DHF,eradication of mosquito breeding places, and Aedes aegypti larvae survey method. The information wasthen transferred to students, and under the supervision of school health program teachers, they alsoundertake eradication of mosquito breeding places and Aedes aegypti larvae survey. The result showed thatthe school health program teachers' knowledge has increased after training (p-value< 0.005). After routine implementation of eradication programs, no more Aedes aegypti larvae was found in water containers. Larvae free index after training had increased compared to that before the training
