Pengaruh Terapi Rendam Kaki Dengan Air Hangat Terhadap Penurunan Tekanan Darah Pada Pasien Dengan Hipertensi Di Puskesmas Bahu Manado

: Hypertension is systolic blood pressure greater than 140 mmHg and diastolic over 90 mmHg. In addition to pharmacological therapy, treatment of hypertension can use nonpharmacological therapy, is one foot soak therapy warm water. The aim to determine the effect of foot soak therapy with warm water to decrease blood pressure in patients with hypertension at Bahu Public Health Center Manado. The samples are patients with hypertension at Bahu Public Health Center met the inclusion criteria, using non-random sampling technique was purposive sampling method got 17 samples. The design using quasi experiment designs with one group time series design, observations pretest and then treatment (foot soak therapy warm water) and posttest observations three times. The research results based on the Friedman test showed that P-value = 0.689 > α = 0.05, there is no difference between the systolic blood pressure after foot soak therapy with warm water O2, O3, O4. Based on Wilcoxon test, there are significant before and after foot soak therapy with warm water to decrease blood pressure (P-value = 0.000). The conclusion, foot soak therapy with warm water ineffective to decrease blood pressure in patients with hypertension at Bahu Public Health Center Manado
