The research which was conducted using Non Equivalent (Pretest-Postest) Group Design with the aim to describe the effectiviness of increase generating ability on salt hidrolysis has been done. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling technique from all of studentin the 11th grade of MIA at SMA Negeri 3Bandar Lampung for 2014/2015 academic year and it was obtained the MIA4 and MIA5 of the 11th grade. The results showed that average n-Gain of generating ability in salt hydrolysis topic in the control class (0.41) and in experiment class (0.56) was different significantly. Based on t-test, it was concluded that scientific approach learning was effective to increase generating ability in salt hydrolysis topic, especially in the question...
