Akibat Hukum Klaim Nine Dash Line Cina Terhadap Hak Berdaulat Indonesia Di Perairan Kepulauan Natuna (Khususnya Kabupaten Natuna) Menurut Unclos 1982

The title of the legal paper is “The Legal Consequences of Nine Dash Line Claim by the People’s Republic of China towards the Indonesia Sovereign Rights in Natuna Islands (specially Natuna County) according to United Nations Convention On The Law Of The Sea 1982. The problem started when the People’s Republic of China announced Nine Dash Line map which included Natuna waters into it. The legal research methods based on normative research by reviewing related theories as well as the prevailing norms. Primary data, secondary and tertiary data are used in this legal writing. The data collecting by through interviews and analyzed qualitatively, then written in descriptive analysis. Based on literatures and interview, the researcher found the fact that People’s Republic of China claim over the South China Sea based on Nine Dash Line map contrary to United Nations Convention On The Law Of The Sea 1982. Indonesia as a country that had sovereign rights over Natuna waters has said refuse admitting the claim and kept asserted sovereignty in Natuna
