An evolution of the nature concept use in the geographical thought is presented, as well as its substitution by the term environment. Likewise, it analyses how the environmental agenda gains relevance maintly as a consequence of the colonization at the global scale. The inconveniences of regarding environmental problems only in the global scope are presented, as well as a discussion considering this preference with its epistemologic and geopolitical implications. Finally, reflections on the importance of considering territory and scale in environmental issues are presented, underlining the theoretical and methodological contributions of geographic sciences to these matters in their social scope.Se presenta la evolución del uso del concepto ...
