In this paper we propose an energy dissipation mechanism that iscompletely reliant on changes in the aggregation state of thephycobilisome light-harvesting antenna components. All photosyntheticorganisms regulate the efficiency of excitation energy transfer(EET) to fit light energy supply to biochemical demands.
