Feedback is a powerful teaching technic to raise students’ performance, provided that the feedback is informative on how to improve, is given in a timely manner and students have the opportunity to act upon it. Therefore, many institutions want their students to receive feedback on their performance more frequently. However, this policy seriously increases teachers’ workload, especially when written work has to be assessed.
