Introduction: The attention paid to the inclusion of children with Profound Intellectual and Multiple Disabilities (PIMD) in regular school settings has increased over the last few years. An example of this is 'Together to School', a Dutch project in which children with PIMD are integrated into a regular school. Aim: In this study we will describe the effects of the 'Together to School' project on the attitude and acceptance of children in regular primary schools and the effects of the project on peer interactions in children with PIMD.
