The craniofacial morphology of 31 male patients diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome (OSAS) and 37 healthy male subjects were compared using cephalometric evaluation of lateral skull radiographs. The aim was to evaluate which cephalometric variables related to craniofacial morphology discriminate between OSAS patients and non-OSAS subjects. Sixteen cephalometric measurements were determined to study the craniofacial morphology. Differences in cephalometric variables between the two groups were analysed with unpaired Student t-tests (significance level 0.05).
