To improve the mechanical properties and the bioactivity of PolyacitveTM, hydroxyapatite particles were chosen as filler to reinforce the polymer. In making composites, the interface between hydroxyapatite particles and polymer plays an important role in determining the ultimate mechanical properties of the composites.
