A group of objects from Spain and Romania bear the mark «X», a device probably to be associated with <em>legio X Gemina</em>. A survey of this legion's known stamps and countermarks on lead pigs and coins suggests that the practice began during Agrippa's tour of Hispania in 19 BC.
