In order to provide adequate care and housing to the growing number of people with dementia, new technologies are necessary to provide good care and reduce the costs for these care services. Numerous technologies are available, which decrease the need for care and increase the self-reliance of clients and support relatives or professional carers. This chapter discusses the use and implementation of e-health technologies and provides an overview of recommendations on how to start using technology for people with dementia in an efficient and effective way.
