MEMS fluidic devices often require the integration of sensor/actuator structures with freely suspended microchannels. This article presents a versatile microchannel fabrication concept, allowing for easy fluidic interfacing to the microchannel and integration of sensor/actuator structures in close proximity to the fluid.
