This paper summarizes a work of interpretation of the design of educational materials in the light of two interpretive contexts (which are contrasting systemic models): a enlightened modern context and a postmodern context. The discussion on the meaning of systemic-interpretive design of educational materials is by contrasting and comprehension of two different interpretations of the design of educational materials, derived from each context. The sense outlined concerns the cultivation of a holistic conception of individual and collective everyday life, based on the educational project of Interpretive Systemology.

</p
