BACKGROUND: Diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) often has reduced stability during standing conditions. AIM: To compare balance control in diabetic patients and normal subjects using computerized dynamic posturography and to assess effect of visual feedback-based balance training in DPN. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A total of 57 patients of type 2 diabetes mellitus and 30 age-matched normal control subjects were recruited. The sensory organization test was done before and after the training program.
