ARTIFICIAL RESTORATION OF ICHTHYOFAUNA OF THE DNIEPER RESERVORS: CURRENT STATE, PROBLEMS AND PERSPECTIVES

The paper contains results of measures of artificial restoration of native ichthyofauna of the Dnieper reservoirs. It was shown that according to actual indices of fish stocking, one can expect significant recruitment of certain commercial species. The performed estimations of commercial return from yearling Chinese carp stocking indicate on sufficiently high prognostic efficiency of this measure. A procedure of stocking of the Kakhovka reservoir with yearling Chinese carps is proposed
