This set of buildings includes the following. The Biological Chemical and Pharmaceutical Research Institute. A building housing the pilot plant of the synthesis department and the dog accommodation. A previously existing building containing the dining hall and kitchen. There is also a complement of sporting installations, parking zones, and gardens. The whole provides a highly horizontal and plastic design, which is enhanced by the colour and texture of the untreated concrete, and the shadow effects provided by the external reticular paraments.<br><br>El nuevo edificio consta de las siguientes edificaciones: el Instituto de Investigación Biológica, Química y Farmacéutica, que alberga nueve laboratorios; un edificio que aloja la planta piloto del departamento de síntesis y las «perreras»; otro que contiene los servicios, y una construcción preexistente ocupada por el comedor y la cocina. Una serie de instalaciones deportivas, estacionamientos y zonas verdes, completan el programa. El conjunto resulta de marcada horizontalidad y recia plástica, coadyuvando, a conseguir efectos, el color y textura del hormigón visto y las sombras arrojadas de la retícula de las fachadas
