Machines, automobiles, aircrafts and many other applications have shaft as major mechanical component which\ud must have a proper design, in-order to have the efficient transmission of power from one element to another. For\ud the design of shaft an appropriate range of evaluation, general product form and processing methods for material\ud must be made. The selection of material should be done by using multiple attribute decision methods (MADM).\ud In this paper, Grey Correlation Analysis and TOPSIS Method is proposed in order to decide a suitable material\ud by considering different attributes and graphical representations are made for different attributes verse materials\ud and vice versa
