Objective the present study is carried out to analyse the provisions of the European Council and Parliament Directive 201124EU on the patients39 rights protection in crossborder healthcare the doctrine and practice of the European Court in this area for future comparative legal analysis of the legislation of the European Union EU on the rights protection of crossborder patients with the legislation of the Union state Russia and Belarus as well as the Eurasian Economic Union.
