The Many researches have been done in the transformation of emotion. However, for Marathi not many studies\ud have been done. In this paper we construct a Marathi speech database to study the effects of change of emotion.\ud Emotion is an important element in expressive speech synthesis and is investigated by many researchers. In this\ud research paper we build a Marathi speech database to study the effects of change of emotion. We describe\ud methods to optimize the database for analysis and study. The pitch information is extracted from the database\ud for different emotions like Joy, Angry and Sad.
