This article re-examines the cuirassed statues of Sessa Aurunca type. I propose including one new sculpture in this group: A ‘Lucius Verus’ colossal cuirassed statue from Seleucia Pieria, which will shed further light on this typology and its use by the Roman emperors.<br><br>Este artículo retoma el estudio de las estatuas militares de tipo Sessa Aurunca. Propongo la inclusión de una nueva pieza dentro de este grupo: una escultura militar colosal de Lucio Vero procedente de Seleucia Pieria. Su análisis permitirá conocer nuevos detalles acerca de esta tipología estatuaria y su utilización por parte de los emperadores romanos
