<p>At the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia, concepts of judicial performance and evaluation are relatively new. Responding to modern expectations for increased judicial accountability for their performance, Victorian judges have engaged a number of court–led evaluation and measurement tools aimed at improving judicial performance both inside and outside the courtroom. These include the Court Craft judicial education programme, the Report on Government Services performance indicators and the International Framework for Court Excellence.
