Level of work accidents in the woodworking industry plants in the Opole Silesia region

The article presents a short characteristic of woodworking industry with the consideration of work accidents level in the chosen plants of woodworking industry in the Opole Silesia region. Moreover, it indicates the most frequent causes of work accidents and occupational risks. On the basis of the conducted analysis it can be assumed that the level of work accidents occurring in the woodworking industry is still very high, and the elementary cause of it, are inappropriate behaviour of workers and obsolete machines in use.\ud \ud &nbsp
