The work proposes a sketch of behavior theory and complex-system thinking in the interests of enhancement of artificial (information) system capabilities. This study may be of use in the development of principles for novel computa-tion and control architectures. It is substantiat-ed that cognitive functions must be modeled on the basis of a paradigm of complexity and its specific variant – a paradigm of limiting gener-alizations.
