Thanks to Colciencias support and a joint, collaborative, transversal and interdisciplinary effort between Universidad del Norte, Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and Universidad de la Guajira, these three Universities worked on the design, development and implementation of educational videos repositories as part of the Colombian Digital Library (BDCOL), allowing open access to digital contents to support the learning-teaching processes on higher education levels, through the use of a high speed network, named RENATA.
