In this article we present a coin presumably minted in Aquileia in the name of Crispus with a reverse type usually attributed to his father, Constantine I. Furthermore, this particular specimen has a legend caesura unknown for this workshop. In order to try to establish whether it is a hybrid product from official dies, imitative or irregular issuance of the period, we carry out a stylistic analysis of the epigraphy, contrasting our coin with other official coins and at the same time elaborating different possibilities as to its origin
