CHANGES IN FORESTRY LAND USE IN LUBLIN VOIVODESHIP IN THE YEARS 2009–2014

The paper presents the dynamics of the forest land use changes in the years 2009–2014. The research was conducted at the regional level, including the area of Lublin in its scope. The information contained in the consolidated lists of data included in land and buildings registration and GUS database was the source material of the study. The analyses were performed on the surface of the forest land and to take account of changes in forms of the land wielded. The results of the research show a tendency to increase the surface of forest land, however, the growth rate of forest surface is declining every year. From the annual growth equal to 3660 hectares in 2010, in 2014 an annual increase of just value of 1126 hectares was observed. The biggest changes were noticed in the surface of the forest land in 1, 2 and 7 register group (lands of the Public Purse with the exception of the land in perpetual lease, land of the Public Purse provided perpetual lease and lands of natural persons). The undertaken analyses confirmed the current trend of increasing forest cover in Lublin province
