Theoretical Analysis of Understanding the Text in a Foreign Language

The article contains the examination of the important problem of teaching the foreign languages. The theoretical interpretation and understanding of the text consist of two components: perceptive comprehension of the text and semantic decoding of the text contents. The author underlines that for understanding of the text the linguistic and extralinguistic elements; quantity of information, its presentation, visual aids are of the particular importance.
